 any (http://www.grandprixfestival.com)\n\n\n\nFor 2017\, the Grand Prix Fes
 tival of Watkins Glen will  feature Vintage and Sporting Marques of the Aut
 obahn.  All Opel owners are invited to bring their cars to this great autom
 otive event. We are limiting the event to pre-1980 vehicles\, and are hopin
 g to attract some of the less-well-represented marques.  Since BMW and Pors
 che have been featured in previous years\, we are excluding those marques f
 rom this event in the hope of seeing some of the many other German vehicles
  manufactured over the years.\n\n\n\nThe event is held on the Friday of the
  SVRA vintage race weekend at Watkins Glen International Race Track - Frida
 y after Labor Day.  This is a driver's event - the cars are the show!!\n\nH
 ere is a short review of event day:\n\nBeginning with registration at Chate
 au Lafayette Reneau Winery at about 8:00 a.m. on Friday\, September 8\, 201
 7\, participants will enjoy a real driving enthusiast’s day from the 9:30 a
 .m. drivers' meeting prior to the rally\, to brunch at Watkins Glen Interna
 tional around 11 a.m. followed by laps on the WGI race track\, to laps of t
 he Original Road Course\, finishing with display parking at LaFayette Park.
   This is also the site of the Legends Speak forum discussions\, and only a
  block away from the rest of the action on Franklin Street\, which continue
 s with laps of the remaining Stone Bridge Driver events\, then the 4:30 p.m
 . arrival of the SVRA Heritage cars for their laps and display parking.  Th
 e evening activities culminate in a fireworks display at Watkins Glen State
  Park\, the site of Concours de Elegance.\n\nPlease check out the website (
