Part 5 - The Differences between all the Oil Pans and Valve Covers in the Opel C.I.H. Motors.
Overview of the timing cover and prep for assembly of the short block
0:00 Intro
0:42 Oil Pump Cover rebuild
1:41 Timing Chain Tensioner pads
2:10 Front seal
2:26 Oil Pump Gears
4:39 Oil Pump Cover install
* NOTE: Not using a gasket on oil pump cover for the 1.9L/2.0L timing covers only works if you have some excessive wear inside the cover. You will know, once you have torque if the gears move or not. If they don't move you will have to get the timing cover gaskets. They come in a few thicknesses. So if you have low oil pressure the low hanging fruit is to change the oil pump cover to a thinner gasket.
