Been a while, but a lot is coming. I have a new EFI to go with my 2.5l motor.
Second time at Thunderhill, with the motor and it ran flawlessly for both day.
After the race the dyno run was 122 HP and 127 Ft Lbs at the rear wheels.
Given I think I can make the motor better if I get on the dyno with a PC and tune the GoinEFI even better, we will find out.
Thanks to: https://classicfuelinjection.co.uk/ they made the harness and provided the MaxxECU help to get it running.
In the final minute of the video I kind of run my cursor over the data so you can see the data points to infer what the rest says. If you want to download the MaxxECU software and open the data log the log can be found at:
The tuning was basically relying on the ECU for fuel and the ignition was based on a few tables I had and a few rules of thumb. I am no expert on dialing this in.. so any tips would be cool.
The MaxxECU settings file is here:
Microsoft OneDrive
Should work on any CIH motor 2.0L and up.
