i just wanted to share this picture of my Manta which was taken the day i bought it.
It's a B-Model from 1978 with all the fany chrome that you may miss on later models. Still in it is the original 1.6 liter engine with 137tkm on the clock. With roughly 60 HP its not very fast but a real cool cruiser these days.
Im currently restoring the car to fully working order, which meant replacing some ball joints and also overhaul the ignition system. Rust is also fully removed which was not to much on this car but still a real pain. Next step ist to replace the brake lines and paint the car in its originally yellow. After that it will be ready to roll the streets again (after over 20 years which the car spent in a shed).
