Gary:
I just spent about a half hour trying to do my signature. I kept getting the message that my signature was over 500 hundred characters, please fix. I redid and redid. The last time I counted all my characters, including spaces. I had under 150. Am I doing something wrong or is this a glitch?
Thanks,
Vickie
Was it a text only signature Vickie?

Just a heads up here first, there will be no "Opels on the Avenue" this year.
We had a great turnout last year, and I've promised to keep the event going, however we are taking a one year sabbatical and will be back bigger and better in 2016.
Cheers, Rob.At some point Rob, we need to get side by side pics of the Senny's!

Yeah, I get a small fee for the car and minimum wage as an extra. Usually a long 12 hour day with a lot of downtime. Mainly doing it for exposure for the Opels. It is pretty cool to see what goes into making movies This will be the fifth one.
I was on set 5 times for "Labor Day" and the Senator was way in the background in one 5 second scene. I made it into the deleted scenes in the DVD. 3 Opels on set for "American Hustle" and only the Olympia made it in the movie's final cut. Twice with the wagon and GT for "Black Mass" (to be released this November). 3 times with the Senator for "Bleed for This" (Sept. release). Had three calls for the GT so far for the latest one but there was too much salt on the road. I told them I was available for this Wednesday.
-
Well Gary, looks like your Opels have a better career than you do
LOL. I took a temp job about a month ago. Supposed to last until June, but it could turn into a 1 or 2 day a week thing. Working sucks!
-
Took my GT out for a quick spin today. There's still snow on the sides of the road but There is a good chance that the GT will be used in a new movie Wednesday and I wanted to do a shakedown before then.

I cant click on the highlighted link to download the file.
A new window opens when you click on the link. The download button is in the upper right corner of that window.

The float function is not working
So you'll need to open another windowThe Shoutbox is for quick shouts to members. The Chat Room is for longer conversations. You can also create new "Rooms" in the Chat area.

I notice that there is a number on forums and gallery and I believe it indicates posts I haven't read yet. My question is with regard to chat. Can a number be made to appear to show when someone is in chat? It makes it easier to get a group going.
Thanks!
You are correct on the "numbers" Vickie. Also if someone is in the Chat Room it will list them on the top of the Dashboard (Main) page.

Gary added a new file:
DIN Wiring Codes
Ever wonder what those numbers printed on relays mean or get confused reading Opel wiring diagrams?QuoteEver wonder what those numbers printed on relays mean or get confused reading Opel wiring diagrams? The attached list breaks the code down and makes it much easier to understand wiring circuits and component connections. Download and save it!

Tom was a great friend and long time supporter of Opels from the Pittsburgh, PA area. He rarely missed a meet on the East coast. Tom passed away in December 2011 due to complications from Crohns disease. His memory lives on with the "Tom Cavataio Spirit" award presented each year at the Opels at Carlisle event. Tom was also deeply involved with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. Crohn's is a disease that claimed his girlfriend Bridget and one that Tom danced with for too many years.
A scholarship fund has been created in Tom's name at the CCFA. It is used to send kids with Crohn's disease to a special camp called Camp Oasis where all of the kids have Crohn's. Tom was a counselor there one year.
If anyone would like to donate, they can send their donations to the local chapter:
CCFA WPA/WV chapter
300 Penn Center Boulevard,
Suite 401
Pittsburgh Pa. 15235
They are already set up for donations. Just mention Tom Cavataio and all donations go to this fund. Please note that only donations made to the local chapter will go toward the scholarship. All other donations end up in a general fund.
