Non-chlorinated is a given in my trade. If you weld on something that was previously cleaned with chlorinated brake clean, it creates phosgene gas. Breathe it in, and you create serious health issues, or you die.
I've used non-chlorinated NAPA brake clean and honestly it works just fine. Not up to speed on other brands.

I just received initial word that the Alt-Opel IG has approved my request to form a North American chapter of Alt-Opel.

2015 Deutsche Classic - Oley, PA
The 11th annual Deutsche Classic will be held on July 11 at the Oley Fairgrounds in Oley, PA.

Carlisle events notified me that Hisashi Masui from Nostalgic Hero was there covering the event for the magazine and he was asking a lot of questions about the Opel's. We might see a little coverage of club in the magazine in the near future.
Would there be any interest in having a Wikipedia type of page for Opel's here?
We could start an article on a topic and members would add to it like on other Wiki sites? There would be a dictionary style index for all the topics.

Carlisle Food Poll
We will be having a cookout on the showfield on Saturday night this year. Standard cookout fare will be offered. We are having this poll to gauge interest and to try to help with purchasing. We are looking at a flat fee of $10.00 for this. The cookout will start after the auction.
Offerings will be burgers, hot dogs, chicken breast, beans, cole slaw, potato salad, chips, soft drinks, etc.
Any proceeds will go toward next years Nationals at Carlisle.

Opel is getting pretty innovative!
Last week I needed to purchase a sign for work. I went to Graingers site and found what I was looking for. I logged onto ogtcom during my lunch time and there was an ad for the exact sign from Grainger at the top of the page (I use an ad blocker at home). The exact same ad appeared today when I logged on. 
No wonder the EU requires users be notified if a website uses "Cookies".
