Last week I needed to purchase a sign for work. I went to Graingers site and found what I was looking for. I logged onto ogtcom during my lunch time and there was an ad for the exact sign from Grainger at the top of the page (I use an ad blocker at home). The exact same ad appeared today when I logged on. 
No wonder the EU requires users be notified if a website uses "Cookies".
"Targeted advertising"....I see it more and more...I'd love to be able to pull up a list of "current cookies" on my PC just to see what/who was there...
I was just discussing this with my wife last night after I was on Facebook to post the picture of the "Piston" award for my grandkids since they love Lightning McQueen. I was then looking at some of the "suggested" friends list and Udo B. from Germany shows up. How the heck did they connect me to Udo, I don't know.
