1936 Opel Barn Find

A friend mentioned that the latest issue of Hemmings has an article about an upcoming estate auction that has over 100 cars. I have not seen the article but the pics show a 1936 Opel Super Six convertible.
The auction is scheduled for August 13, 2016 in New Wilmington, PA.

I honestly haven't done much research on the history of opel yet, but i had no idea they made cars as far back as the 1930's

Well hell, wait till you find out they made trucks, bicycles, refrigerators, and sewing machines (all the
way back to 1862).

Wow, how come I just found this topic! I may be reviving the old thread, but... wow that's a great found. Absolutely lovely car. If I had a chance I would go for it instead of new '17 CLA 250 at DSRLeasing, it would bring the eyes on everyone on the streets hah.
